Who Must Comply with the BFSG?

Affected B2C Services

SaaS applications:

Software-as-a-Service for consumers must meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

The Micro-Enterprise Exemption

You are exempt if you meet both criteria: • Fewer than 10 full-time employees (FTE) • Annual turnover or balance sheet ≤ €2 million Important: This exemption applies only to services, not to manufacturers of physical products.

B2B Exemption

Pure B2B services are exempt if: • Your service is aimed exclusively at businesses • Consumers are clearly excluded • This is clearly recognizable on your website
